.THE FARM

Guests are very welcome to enjoy the walks around our farm as stated in our information pack.

Corsewall Castle Farm Lodges are situated on a working farm.  During certain times of the year the farm is busy and there may be a number of heavy machines operating in the fields, travelling along the roads to and from our farm and working around the farm steading.  Whilst our machinery operators are highly experienced and vigilant, it is your responsibility to keep yourselves, children and cars a safe distance from the machinery. Often, in order to get work done whilst weather conditions are favourable, it is necessary to work late into the evenings or start early in the mornings. While we endeavour to keep any noise at unsociable hours to a minimum this is part and parcel of rural, agricultural life and we are not liable for any disturbance caused.

The cattle around the farm are naturally inquisitive and may well come up to fences to see what is going on. For the sake of your safety do not go into fields with cattle in them. Do not open any gates. The paths around the farm do not require any opening and closing of gates.

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in Corsewall Castle Farm Lodges.

DEPOSITS

A deposit of 25% of the total for the property is payable on booking.  The balance of the holiday is payable 56 days prior to the holiday commencement date. If the reservation is made less than 56 days in advance of the holiday commencement date, the full holiday cost is payable on booking.

Cancellation and Insurance

By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have still not received your balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the Lodge, you are no longer liable for the balance or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it less £20 plus VAT to cover administration costs. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. We advise that you take out separate holiday cancellation insurance to cover this cost.
